It's great that i can delete holes now but if i need to delete 20 holes frankly its faster to just start over in some cases. I know i can "delete above" but sometimes that's not easy to do in a long property tree. It would be great if i could hold down a modification key like maybe TAB (given Alt and Shift already do things to your selection tool...) and have the selection only target features possibly on an already selected element, or not? I'm sure there is a limitation there on what can be done. Then from that selection independent of using the properties menu i could "move" all those features on the part to a new location or even delete them with a single key stroke.
@Karol Kempski An example could be that there is a long row of bolts in a beam that need holes at 250 centres. The design may then be updated so that they need to be at 200 centres however you need to move each hole individually (could be very many operations, and quicker to remodel and recreate.) Ideally it would be possible to select all the hole features that need moving and do it in one operation.
This is very old but i think my intent was to replace some of the functionality of using the fence to manipulate things. If i need to move multiple features currently the only way to do so is one at a time. It's frequently not the fastest solution in some modeling operations. I have users who will drop status to smart solid in order to use fence stretch (Time is Money). If there was a way to make a selection set of these features and then move/rotate etc. that would be handy. Similarly, this could be used to delete a cluster of features.
We are going to enable deleting multiple features at once. Could you elaborate more on Manipulating Multiple features at once?
