When selecting an Element Template, there does not seem to be a logical order of element templates or folders. It would be much simpler to have all folders and templates in alphabetical order. See the screenshot below from ORD.
Thank you very much for submitting your idea. The change you're requesting already exists. You can sort both Template Groups/Folders and Templates in each group/folder.
To sort Template Groups/Folders select the Template list in the Attributes ribbon group > select Manage, which opens the Element Templates dialog > select the file in the list that stores the Template Groups > right-click > select Sort Children to sort the template group's templates and template groups alphabetically by name:
You can also sort the templates alphabetically by name by right-clicking on the Template Group.

You can already do this.
An option to put templates in alphabetic order would be great, but sometimes you need to group things different in a logical manor like most used.
