MicroStation provides established tools for editing text, including the Change Text Attributes dialog. Since the introduction of tables, text inside table cells do not behave consistently with these standard tools. Expectation is that the text tools will work uniformly across all text in a drawing, yet table text is often not recognized by most text tools and only sometimes behaves like text in the editor. The issue is not simply that the Properties dialog lacks certain controls. It is the inconsistency between table text and other text elements, which disrupts editing workflows.
