3D-tiles importing in Microstation through mesh as .json files

Dear Bentley Service Team,

Rather than proposing a new idea, I would like to refer to a previous case (link below) regarding MicroStation’s support for importing .json format files. This functionality is promoted, but not directly supported within the application.

Given this, I believe the most efficient solution would be to await the upcoming release of the 2025 version of MicroStation, where I hope this feature will be fully implemented or improved.

    Hi again Bentley / John


    Apologies as I completely forgot to mention earlier that the “customized, 3D-tiles" tested in MicroStation are already hosted in our in-house database and are supported by Bentley OpenCities Planner.

    So, the format and structure are familiar to Bentley, so hosting them isn’t an issue.

    I considered worth to include this piece of information either in the original request (her) or the suggestion of a new idea item.
