Element info byelemid and
Select element byelemid find and put the lement into Selection and display properties.
Maybe they should honour Selection settings.. and have option to add to selection not replace.

Itwin shares the Element Id with Microstation and its the one common key.
if you want to visualise a set of elements with or with out a set of ITEMS, being able to add a list of element ids into a selection set would be a great diagnostic tool.
