Shortcuts are a powerful but under-utilised Operating System tool. They are like 'pointers' or a re-directing and scripting tool.

When a file is dragged onto a Mstn or View window, it is loaded. The same should happen when a Shortcut is dragged onto the app. Bentley View already opens the Shortcut properly when opened from the File Open dialog. Other apps also support this.

It would be good to enhance the Ref Dialog 'File Name' input box to handle Shortcuts.
