per CS0352736 i am submitting this as an idea. When using the import shape file tool, the import dialog only shows element templates that exist in the file. I would like to have it show the element templates that are in dgnlib files and configurated via MS_DGNLIBLIST_ELEMENTTEMPLATES (or MS_DGNLIBLIST). I feel like this is something that the software generally allows, strange that it was decided for this tool to not have this functionality.

the ability to import shape files and select and element template that has an item type set for the attributes is awesome functionality but without being able to select element templates from a configured dgnlib makes its hard to actually use.
