Custom Linestyle GUI and Build Logic Merged

Custom Line Styles have a big potential that still remains untapped with an outdated GUI and build logic that dates back to the 90's.

Is there any scope or intention to bring it forward the same way the Multiline Style dialog has been?

I have done some cool stuff with Custom Line Styles in the past like making a 3D style in V8. But that took time. With many of the new MSCE features like Item Types, Parametrics, and new Element structures we could do some amazing things with it.

We could make interactive Custom Line Styles that we don't have to destroy in order to modify them or make interesting 3D line styles like making brick walls or 3D fences with gates in the line style.

If anything, can Custom Line Styles be added to the roadmap?

    Hello Robert,

    Thank you for your idea and inquiry into the Custom Line Style dialog and creation process. We are currently working on improving the GUI and creation process. I can't say when it will be available, but know it is in the works. Once it's available I will come back and update you.
