When the Properties, Explorer, or other dialogs are docked next to a view, the dock extents can be adjusted with a familiar 'divider' adjustment. This adjustment tugs on adjacent views and adjusts them, like a divider should. No such functionality exists when views abut other views.

Adjusting the screen space for plan/profile/section layouts in ORD can be tedious (Perhaps sloppy is a better term). Same with buildings or plant work using clip volumes or multiple orientations across multiple views.

Maybe even a 'bump' feature like Windows to fill available space.
