I would like to see the Element Selection dialog box improved to where it will only display the Element Types that are in the drawing. When an element type is added to the drawing it will appear in the list.
AutoCAD has the quick select command that will only display the element types that are in the active drawing.
great Idea! I'd suggest a toggle of some kind so the user can choose between "all" or "in active file/model"
Current workaround is to first to a "Select all", then it will display used levels/element types/... at the top. Then it will work similar to what you have in mind I think?
