Change view of 3D models when used as a 2D reference

Apologies if this capability already exists. With 3D references, you can choose the view (ie. top, front, right) when adding the reference. However, once the reference is added, I don't know of a way to change the view. Sometimes it would be helpful to be able to change the view from top to right/front on a reference that has already been added. Is it possible to add the ability to change the view of a reference that has already been added to a 2D drawing? Currently, the best workflow I know of, is detaching and then reattaching the reference, simply to change the view of the 3D reference.

You can use Saved Views. When e.g. have a rotated view you can Save it as Saved View (with a meaningfull name) and then do an attach via with that Saved View. If you need to change it later you can update that Saved View and your Reference Attachment will be updated accordingly. Better even would be if you use the dynamic views like what you can view here https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7jfe0_WZE1qpYM_borDfJptofG1sqNkC
