Time yourself using AutoCAD keyboard shortcuts like M-move, C-copy, O-offset, etc. Then try to do the same in MicroStation. Not only is it slower it takes more clicks. Also look how the Stretch and Match commands work in MicroStation compared to AutoCAD. Let's take the best AutoCAD commands and add them to MicroStation for speed.
This needs to happen. Many apps use quick keyboard shortcuts. Look at what Adobe has done with their PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc. My muscle memory in AutoCAD allows me to quickly and intuitively select commands. The MicroStation 'Key-ins'/shortcut method is not very useful and requires more clicks. Even the pop-up quick select isn't as useful as just selecting a letter and hitting space.
You can edit the keyboard shortcuts to run the key-ins for the commands you describe.
