Similar to AutoCAD, the Create Cell tool should include a Retain 'Cell' in place option. This would speed modeling components in context very much.

Really dumb workflow.
To re-iterate, this would help make using Cells in Mstn much much more productive and smoother. See Revit Create Group workflow. Compare with Mstn workflow where the user has to select the elements, delete, tentative/snap to the right position and place the Cell. Groups in Revit suffer from speed problems. Mstn should shine in comparison and offer a competitive alternative.
With the Edit-in-Place functionality introduced in Mstn 17.2; Refresh Cell in Mstn 2024; AutoUpdate P-Cells in Mstn 17 and the planned ability to convert Cells into Refs ( MSR-I-1734) and element visibility (MS-I-47)... Mstn is on the verge of providing comparable functionality... without the speed penalties.
