When using the rotate/mirror feature tools (and possibly others) the options list is about the: Design XYZ, View XYZ and Accudraw/ACS XYZ. Feels like all the classic and legacy mirror/rotate/revolve etc. all allow you to do so by points and you can pick any two points in space which is far more handy. I often work entirely in a Isometric view with models and elementsnot square to the world with accudraw, picking 2 points is faster and easier. I understand i could change my active ACS but really i just want to leave the tool on 1 setting (2 points) and never change it.
Now that I think about it this applies to the spin face tool as well and i'm sure there are more.
