It would be great if you could restrict Undo to the activ model.
Currently, pressing Ctrl+Z would undo the placement of element you did in the previous model.
Workflow:
A design with several models.
Place some elements in model A
Change to model B
Place some elements
Press Ctrl+Z toundo the the placement of elements in model B.
If you press Ctrl+Z once to many it will undo the elements in model A.

Please refer to for further information. We encourage that you base your ideas request on the information found there.
Then what about an option to automatically sets a mark when you change model.
Another tip, MicroStation has one of the best design history register. More info here: https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/11456/design-history-change-tracking-microstation.
Hi Krister, thank you for the idea. When we originally developed undo we followed industry standards. If this change in the future we are happy to review this idea. In the meantime, "undo to mark" might be able to help. Here more info: https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/43917/how-to-undo-to-mark-in-microstation-connect.
