Pattern Styles

Adding to the concept of Text Styles, Dimension Styles, Multiline Styles, etc. it would be very helpful to create and save Pattern Styles.
A basic implementation would be the ability to save Hatch and Cross Hatch settings to an AutoCAD .pat file that can be used as input for the Pattern Area tool.
Ideally Pattern Styles could be configured and saved to a .dgnlib file like the other aforementioned styles. In addition to the basic hatching options the style would save the pattern scale, tolerance, associative and snappable options, as well as the pattern cell for pattern area tool.

it seems to me essential to be able to use .PAT files for teamwork, compatibility must be improved.

I find myself forced to work with autocad for a team project because of a demanding quality charter.
