I'd prefer to have the drop down buttons for selecting attributes like colours, line styles and weights split in half - thumbnail plus no. in one half and the down arrow in the other.
That way clicking on the left half would assign that attribute to the selected element(s) without having to go through the selection window/drop down lists. These could still be used through the down arrow.
Saves: one mouse click and scrolling/searching for the attribute shown in the title bar.
