I guess many SMDs are filing their CAD files in some project specific sub-folder on some server.

You often need to switch between models. So you go open another file and then go to the right model.

Explorer offers a better way to do this through "Links>Active Directory" you can have e.g. all Sheet Models in the same directory and directly jump to another sheet.

But the "harvesting" of the links takes ages. And it blocks microStation completely. This makes this great tool completely useless/unfeasible.

How about running the harvesting of the links in a background process without stalling the actual work.
