BIM objects available

There are many manufacturer pages and BIM Object catalogs that offer parts that you can use. Only few offer microstation formatted objects. If you are looking for specific catalogs you will mostly find rfa files. This is the quasi standard (?) They are parametrical.

We need a tool to import the rfa objects into a microstation cell lib so we can place them without much ado...

If I'm not mistaken there are already two workflows to import RFA. I'm an OBD user so not entirely sure if these tools are available in plain Microstation as well.

To be entirely honest, I haven't had much succes with importing RFA in my projects so far. For a non-parametric family it works good enough. But for a parametric overhead door family I tried once the geometry was completely messed up when placed in OBD.
