Since we have the ability to set custom tab stop widths, there should be a way to save those custom settings.
Many years ago, we were able to save and recall Indent/Tab schemes, for reuse throughout a drawing. This was helpful because it allowed us to customize the appearance of our text. That was removed sometime back in SS3/SS4, so that we had to reset our tab spacing with every new text element. Apparently in CONNECT, this functionality is downgraded even more, where individual text node elements will not retain tab spacing if that element is edited.
While I understand the MicroStation is not word processing software, plans still require notes - sometimes a lot of them. It is extra work to open a second program (like Word) to type the information and set it appropriately, then copy/paste those notes into MicroStation. That assumes, of course, that the text in question pastes properly and that you never have to edit it again...
I do not know why this functionality was removed, and I believe it should be reinstated.
