For CONNECT (U15 currently)I recently started developing a Dimensioning training series for my firm. In doing so I noticed that the Dimension Element & Dimension Radial tools are both part of each others toolsets. I am not one who uses these tools as I like the Dimension Linear tool for most of my work.

I realized the 2 separate tools switch modes depending on the type of element selected. If I am using the Dimension Element tool, but I select a circular element the tool modes available switch to the radial options. If I am in the Dimension Radial tool, but I select a linear element the modes switch to the linear options.

Since this is true then why not combine the to tools into one tool. At the top of the dialog could be 2 selections to set which mode is active, linear or radial and the options within the dialog would switch according to the mode selected. The tool could still function dynamically. For my work I rarely dimension circular elements so I would have linear set. Then selecting a circular element would switch to radial dimensioning automatically.

Anything to reduce the number of icons displayed in a tool group would help with screen real estate.
