the defect is recognized but not solved (probably the answer is to create a SR to raise its importance) But maybe it is sufficient if enough people vote for the idea...
This issue is still not solved. It cost us many hours to redefine the level settings if we need another sheet(layout) with different levels.
Based on a floorplan we need separate layouts for differnt sub-crafts (Electical installations General, Lighting, Alarm, Security, Raceways, Access Control, etc.)
What we need (as with a dgn) when you copy a sheet(layout) in a dwg that you get the same level display copied. Then you can switch some levels off and others on and get another flavor sheet for the required sub-crafts.
Yet this operation in dwgs still looses the level settings of references/viewports. So you always have to set the layer settings from scratch.
Please solve this recognized issue.
