Placing a revision cloud by points is awkward and often results not as desired.
In tight spaces you want to follow the cloud placed fairly along the datapoints you are placing. But the command requies a lavish placement or requires you to place more points at corners which often still gives you undesired results. So you have to redo your placement. Which apperars a waste of time when you often need to place an somtimes modify revision clouds.
You achive better results when you first place an element and use "place revcloud element". But that handling is also kind of bumpy.
Please make it at least optional that the cloud placement better follows the (imagined) polygon. Video
Also it would be nice to change the properties of the cloud on the fly (like when drawing a line) When the command is called through the ribbon icon under >Drawing>Annotate(Detailing) you do not have the Attributes Settings box at hand.
(I am thinking that maybe it would be better to even have a linestyle defined polygon placement for clouds in the first place for the generic function. Then one can manipulate the cloud like any linestring.)
I guess this is one example that such streamlining could greatly impact the speed of workflows. Specially when you have to use these functions repeatedly. I could change these things for myself but for many users the "standard" interface is the daily user experience. They have no time to dig into "admin tasks" and also have no administrator at all. Constants enhancements in existing functions will enhance the user experience.
