As others have noted, managing a large number of referenced files is not easy. Often a filename is insufficient. We use the dgn property "Title" accessed by Alt-Enter to populate our drawing title blocks. This can also be easily be shown as a column in Windows Explorer. It would be very helpful if the list of columns available to display in Reference Manager could be extended to include this.
