It would be very productive to add the means to make Connections with other Solids, Surfaces, Shapes. See OBD's Wall tool.

The current Linear Solid is incomplete, difficult to use for real production tasks, where connections are almost always needed. The 3d Constraints tool does not modify the solid at the face or edge level is the same way or at all.

The current OBD tool is 30+ years old, originating, written originally by the Triforma team who was behind BricsCAD, Qonic. The OBD tool is long overdue for an update. Best done at Platform level so that multiple verticals can benefit, better interop.

Both BricsCAD and Qonic support Connections between Walls and Slabs, Roofs etc. I think any solid.

BricsCAD also has a setting to allow persistent Connections. This would be very handy, mimics, extends the OBD Wall Connection behaviour, with the option to suppress.

I think that is also a setting to allow the user to define a gap or overlap dimension when the Linear Solid is connected.
