The Create Cell tool, process is way too hard to use. Especially in today's 3d world. Need much better feedback and documentation.
Cell library Create Cell tool only highlights when there is an attached lib. Trips me and new users up constantly. Origin placed. Fence placed. No CC available. Bug? The note in the blue box in the Help section tends to be read as optional. Tool tip is truncated. Maybe the default library should be the active dgn?
The 2d fence was OK when Cells were generally static 2d symbols for drawings. For 3d, the 3d fence, boundary would be better orientation, disambiguation of which view is being used.
The use of 'Top', global coordinate system only is also out of touch with the importance of working in 3d, BIM. Need to honour the active ACS Lock like the Copy+Paste to Clipboard tool.
The minimalist origin + marker was OK for the old 2d print Cell as static symbols world, but inadequate for 3d working. See how pretty much every other 3d CAD app has gone to a triad.
Perpetual confusion about where the Cell definition is being saved to, now that ACAD internal Block tables (aka hidden Shared Cell models) have been clumsily adopted?
