Some Ideas that would improve things for my workflow, and maybe some others:-
Improve expanding properties interaction.
Start and End coordinates should be expanded together. If I want to see one I generally want to see the other.
Could all the expanding properties have their states remembered? Selecting another object collapses everything making me expand it all again.
Could an expanded property hide the summarized top line? (see image)
If the summarized line was gone the data could be sorted (the image shows it sorted by "start & end", or by "X Y Z")
Make it so Rearranging the tabs in properties is not forgotten on the next selection.
Moving "Geometry" tab above the "General" tab works, but doesn't stick.
Coordinates need a toggle to change from using Global Origin to the ACS and "Reference location in model" values.
An ACS centered on an object could toggle to show the object being at 0,0,0 or its location geographically from the global origin.
A reference with an object at 0,0,0 but the reference is moved could toggle these values to show its new referenced location or its location in the reference.
I would hope the ACS toggled values are editable just like the originals and Micro Station does the math and updates the Global Origin values.
I'd hope to click through these options on the fly, not load menus to toggle the values.
What's the point of a -0 value (see image). My OCD finds this offensive ;-)
It can mostly be removed by changing it to a positive number then back to 0 but Micro Station could do this for me.
The negative zero image shows the values for a cylinder. Why isn't the "Base Radius" value up with the "Height" value? The coordinates not grouped into individual values like the rotation values. There are two summary lines that are taking up space, now that it's all expanded.
I bet there's a file somewhere that I can edit and customize all of this, but no google search has revealed how. Anyways, would love to hear any of your feed back, probably "stop using Properties so much, trust Accudraw" ha ha.
