So often you want the active profile of a line to be created from the active terrain. You draw the line, access the profile view, select the profile and set active. There should be a tool where you click the line and the active profile is instantly created from the active terrain. When point controlling multiple points, this simple process can take a lot of time.
I agree, it would be super helpful to have the active profile of a feature line to by default be the active terrain model.
