Please add functionality to convert DGN files for compatibility with Cesium.
While iTwin Capture Modeler can already produce 3D Tiles suitable for Cesium, we would also like the ability to upload CAD data created in MicroStation and MicroStation-based products. This CAD data is derived from the reality mesh generated in iTwin Capture Modeler.
In addition, we request support for converting DGN files into a web-ready format, so they can be deployed alongside the web-ready reality mesh on a web server.
I am now struggling with finding optimal way to produce 3D tiles form Microstation and there is simply none. IFC/OBJ/GML produces huge files as they are text based. SKP is not supported by Cesium. Only optimal way is using FBX/Collada but none of them utilize coordinate systems.
