When I make Custom Linestyles the used symbols cannot have the color/weight of the symbol

In MicroStation v8i it was possible to select Symbol (instead of Element) for the color and the weight of a Point Symbol. In MicroStation CE, 2023 and 2024 this is still possible, but it doesn't do anything, the symbol is only shown in Element color and weight. I have to open the rsc file in V8i to make the color and weight determined by the symbol.
