Invariably, loading a reference, requires locating the objects once attached, Fit View is the easiest way to find out where they are. Using two monitors, Microstation proper is on one screen and the reference palette and others are on the second screen. Going from one screen to the other and back again so that I can move an object that was dropped in miles from what I'm working on is a lot of wasted time. You reference in a file, then move to Fit View, then back to reference palette - because you can't just use the regular move command- and frequently I'm clicking on and off the reference in the palette because i dont know which objects are from the reference with how far apart they are. A lot of this could be adjusted, but a bare minimum is getting that fit view button on the reference palette.
