With the increase is the amount of data we are having to add to our 3d models. When we want to create dynamic view (DV) ie a cut though the model. The current DV tools are not fit for purpose, the performance in time and output are poor, lack usability, hard to edit, can have missing data and dam right sluggish . Other software can do the same cut in seconds.............
As an example we have a railway station and have to produce and update a series of long sections along the station that is over 750m long........we have to wait between 24 - 48 hours for a single section cut to be completed and in some cases it fails and we have to do it over and over until we get a good one.
This is beyond a joke.
I want bentley to scrap this tool and provide us with something that is super fast, super easy to setup and 100% reliable.
To add to this, we want it yesterday.................

create a clip volume
apply clip
Create saved view from clip volume
create and open a model
Attach the saved view
Create a sheet model
Attach the drawing model as a reference file in the sheet model
What could possibly go wrong? A lot
