While there are many benefits in using Datagroup Data within Openbuildings Designer et. al., it seems that export of the data for use outside of the Bentley environment continues to be limited.

Bluebeam Revu provides plugins for other competitor CAD/BIM s/ware, but not for Mstation or OBD. Consequently an OBD "Space" exports as an inert element and requires anyone carrying out QTO in Revu to create a fresh set of Spaces for their measurement purposes or worse these have to be set out prior to issuing information to a design team. Thi is a missed opportunity in collaboration.
