Hi,
In search of an alternative tool for displaying attributes of selected elements, element groups and cells, I opened the following post in the Microstation forum:
https://bentleysystems.service-now.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=9b22534d1bad92d07171ff7e034bcb9d
The idea is to have a toolbox that, depending on the selected elements, displays all used attributes compressed in a single window and not, as in the element-selection tool, each attribute in a separate tab.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be such a tool at the moment, which is why I would like to post this idea here.
This tool would be a great help if, like me, you currently have to check a very large number of existing drawings.
It's about checking whether all elements are at the right level, using the right line stay, etc.
In the topic linked above, in my second post, I explained quite some detail what it's all about, how the currently available Microstation tools work and what they can do, as well as what their weaknesses are.
I hope it's OK if I link to this post in the forum and don't repeat the details here.
I hope this idea finds interest in the community and gets plenty of votes :)
many thanks
kind regards
Raphaël
