Workset Root Folder and Workset Template Use in 'Create Workset' Dialog

Workset Root Folder and Template Use

It appears that it is impossible to create a workset into a NON-standard folder [see below] AND - at the same time - use a Workset Template.

[A NON-standard folder being a folder that is NOT defined by the _USTN_WORKSETSROOT variable and _USTN_WORKSETROOT variable. An example of a NON-standard folder is "P:\12345 UniqueProjectNameHere\Workset\..". Where the project number and project name are unique and controlled by other agency protocols.]

Within the 'Create Workset' dialog...

"With a Template" Option:

Creating a Workset with a predefined Template then greys out the 'Root Folder' Browse button.

"Without a Template" Option:

Creating a Workset without Template allows a change to the Root Folder path. (The path and the 'Browse' button are NOT greyed out.)

I know that folder creation (in this "Without a Template" option), is controlled by variables within the WorkspaceSetup.cfg. I would rather not go complex process of writing variables for folders, which are already provided for by DOT supplied Template Workset folders and files.

The Need:

Within the 'Create Workset' dialog we need to define the Root Folder path AND place a Workset Template at the end of that Root Folder path.
