Allowing a quick way to clip reference file boundaries would greatly help with drawing production.
At the moment the only way to clip a reference file boundary is by manually doing it, in every file. This proves to be extremely tedious and time consuming when you have a lot of files.
For example a set of 100+ drawings where you need to manually clip boundaries in every drawing will easily waste many hours that could have been spent on more productive tasks.
If we can have a key-in, the ability to record a macro, or even a simple python script to help automate this task, I'm sure it would be very beneficial for a lot of users.

Batch processing this never fits all drawings.
But if you need to Fix a set of drawings ..
create one mask model with a shape that has fill of back ground colour and then simply attach this to all the drawings in a batch process.
You should try to fix your drawing production process first, not the software.
If the mask is in the same place on all drawings, just record a macro with given coordinates and use all when you clip boundary.
Then batch process the 'offending' drawings.

There is a macro recorder for both Python and VBA in MicroStation. I will mark it as "Already Exists" but if this does not help, please make comment.
