When we try to open a file with a mismatched configuration by double click method or from the File Open dialog, we currently see a Mismatch Alert message when it clearly is part of a different workspace/workset."
"This file is not branded with configuration and is part of WorkSpace "Urban Design", WorkSet "Tract_UD"
What do you want to do?
1. Use active Configuration "Custom Configuration", Workspace "Landscape", WorkSet "VicRoads"
2. Open the file with No WorkSet"
This means that to open this file with the correct configuration I have to close the current file to go back to the opening screen, change configuration, and then somehow navigate back to the file through the myriads of folders.
I think a better option to this very limited method of opening the file with a different configuration would be to on the alert dialog give the user the option to select the correct one from the full list of available configurations, like you see on the opening screen via the two dropdown boxes for WorkSpace and WorkSet.
Also a checkbox to not rebrand but only open with the current workset once.
And perhaps also a possibility to force a "disassociate workset" at this point.
