While troubleshooting a workspace, we find the SHOW CONFIGURATION key in to be the best way to look at multiple variables at a time. We recently discovered that it reports the values as defined at the beginning of the session and ignores any changes made within a session.

We make use of the ability to modify variables in session to make our workspace more dynamic for our users. Because of this limitation, we are forced to use other, less efficient methods of checking variable values.

The Configuration Dialog box loads very slowly in ProjectWise compared to when not using ProjectWise and the expand echo key in only exposes values one at a time. Both of these are less efficient than the SHOW CONFIGURATION key in.
