In Microstation, I can display grid lines in the view background, but it disappear if I zoom out too much. Spacings fill by grid lines when the view area is wide too much, so I can understand the reason why. But I think that users should be able to choose by settings that grid lines display. Even if spacings between grid lines is very small, it's not meaningless depending a user.
