How solar exposure calculator is supposed to be used?

All I can get is just nice image with legend without any tools to do some kind of analysis.

How to calculate or measure area how much total kwh for example a roof receives? It would be really helpful to measure direct and indirect illumination for installing solar panels. Seems like another abandoned and half-done tech by Bentley or I am missing something.

Need improvements working with reality mesh or meshed elements.
