The Create Cell tool should honour Visible Edge graphics, Named Presentations, Display Rules etc. Currently only works with Wireframe display.
The Place Cell tool currently has a Flatten + View (Top, Front etc) option. This only works with wireframe type info and not useable with 3d solids etc content.
This should be extended to include Saved Views, including SVs which utilises VE processing (DV and CVE).
Create Cell dialog offers a 'Use Presentation' option, which will honour all the new display enhancements like Clip Volume (DV,CVE), Named Presentations, Display Rules etc. Settings saved as a Saved View.
Create Cell dialog offers a 'preserve DV orientation' option. This will rotate the Cell to match the DV in 3d space. So Cells made in 'plan' can be Ref attached using 0,0,0 and 'section's will be rotated correctly in 3d.
Selected, Fence content is merged into a Shared Cell model in the .Cel or .dgn.
Place Cell tool lists Saved Views (separate drop down, under Flatten) and allows the Cell to be placed as either Shared or Graphic.
Flatten option should be available to deal with 3d elements in DVs.
The Saved View tool should be updated to allow synching the Shared Cell models (hidden).
