CVE Processing: Visible Edges Processing Cache

CVE processing takes quite a long time. For large files, the processing can hang or crash.

In addtion to an interrupt and save function MSR-I-1476, It would be useful to provide a means to resume processing. The existing cache I believe is aimed at reducing the pre-processing calculations (visibility?)

When an interrupt is triggered, can the processing state and contents in memory be 'dumped' and stored to allow a resumption of processing?

This will allow users to 'early access' to the 'good enough' results, and avoid being bogged down by problem elements or waiting for 'perfect' results. Especially when there are hardware spec restrictions.
