Display Rules - new action: Change point symbols

Display Rules are great but we do miss a new option/action which can set a point style override. Just like it is possible in any GIS application (QGIS etc.).

Today we can only change the color, fill, weight etc. at a point (element type: point or cell).

Here's some examples where we miss the option so set or change a point symbol

  • MicroStation point elements can be difficult to see and separate from each other especially if they have different properties

  • Cells (as a point symbol) occasionally needs to be changed when we want to highlight or change the symbol according to different properties

  • When attaching a GIS file there can be a lot of points …and therefore the need to style them is obviously

I’m not sure in which way this can be implemented but please give us the option to create user defined symbols …perhaps a designated cell library or dgnlib which contains the symbols - if it doesn’t kill the performance!

Kind regards
