We keep noticing that some levels show up as used, when there aren't any actual objects on the level. During Model cleanup, we are unable to delete this unused levels. Upon further inspection, we notice that intermediate element using in Parametric Modelling are being stored on these levels and show up as shadow elements taking up levels. Users are wasting time searching for these shadow elements when they show up on a level that should not be used.

It would be a better system if Microstation was capable of storing these elements in a separate set of background levels instead of the main levels used for actual objects in the model. Most users are using the key in to convert to Smart Solids to get rid of this.
