Connect to secured ArcGIS mapserver

Many organisations use secured ArcGIS mapservers. MicroStation can connect to a secured featureservice, but not mapserver. There doesn't appear to be a way to pass a token via the URL in the mapserver address. Suggest include ability to authenticate and connect to a secured mapserver in the same way as featureserver

    Hi all,

Status is changed to planned. This is something we were aware from day one, we could not release all we wanted in 2023.

I agree, just about every organization will be usings some form of SSO/Federated authentication for access to their secured data sources and any feature like this needs to consider other forms of authentication first before basic authentication.

Please support all security models, especially SAML, OAuth, Azure AD and OpenID.

It's entirely unlikely that businesses have unsecured data. I suggest that full Enterprise authentication methods, including SAML and AD be implemented, otherwise it makes accessing Enterprise data nearly impossible for most corporations.
