highlight reference file in dialog

It would be nice if you tentatively snapped on a reference file and had the reference dialog open It would highlight in the dialog

this would be an option

    Is there key-ins to select/highlight references? i am looking for a key-in that will highlight a reference file when it is attached. that way i can easily tell the difference between the working file and the reference.

    Maybe right-click context meun entry to "Select Reference" to have it highlighted in the dialog.
