Enhance snapping "Locate Tolerance" to be expressed in Master Units in all MicroStation CONNECT products. As it is now, Locate Tolerance is in MicroStation view pixel units, so this snap tolerance changes size with zooming. The user has no idea how big a view pixel is in practical terms. If locate tolerance were to be in Master Units, they could set it to, for example, 1.25 meters, and it would be very understandable in the context of their design file. It would no longer change upon zoom. DAT/EM Systems has customers drawing 3D topographic type maps from aerial photos. They might tentative snap thousands of times a day. With the Locate Tolerance in view pixel units, they might have 3 elements within the Locate Tolerance when zoomed in, but hundreds or thousands of elements within the same Locate Tolerance when zoomed far out. The tentative snapping returns go seemingly everywhere when zoomed out, even with a Locate Tolerance of 1 pixel. They would like it to remain at a steady Master Unit value from the cursor position.
