When using "Associative" on placing (linear) dimensions, they often 'break'. Resulting in some thick dashed line to show the user that the dimension is no longer associated with the geometry.
However it's not clear where the association is broken. Often resulting in redoing the entire line of dimensions because "reassociate broken dimensions" doesn't always work.
It would be very useful if the software could indicate which point exactly is no longer associated with geometry; Then the user can simply remove that one point (with "remove stacked dimension") then add it again with "Insert stacked dimension".
putting a cross at the attachment point and color coding them is a good idea.
Why is this changed to "Will not implement". Please provide reasoning or workarounds if they already exist!
Perhaps a colored cross at each dimension attachment point, color coded to good and broken.
