It would be nice to allow a Design Script to identify if an element has an Item Type and some method to interogate the Item Type data in order to change plotting behavior based on the Item Type setting.

This could be extended to MS Pen Tables as well, but our focus is with Design Scripts since we need to accomplish this workflow when creating Renditions through a Hosted PW ICS.
