As indicated in a couple of forum posts, and reflected in Enhancement Request ... many users would like to see that the level of the original cell is retained when placing a cell with the "Place Label" tool. Currently it uses the level of the active dimension style, which makes no sense at all.

This topic has been requested 7 years ago for the first time. I hope using the ideas portal will put a bit of pressure on it so that it finally gets implemented.
